this is going to sound really stupid, but...
i'm in chicago to see the university of chicago and i'm totally weirded out by the fact that there are no mountains. none. anywhere. it's just....flat. i've never been anywhere where i couldn't see at least one mountain before. at least, not that i can remember.

i had my mit interview and it was soooooo much fun. and so was my harvey mudd one a while back. why don't more colleges do interviews? they're awesome. also, it would be great if the ones that did have them made their existence a little more obvious--i missed the deadlines to interview with university of chicago and carnegie mellon.
